The X8 Hybrid, like many robotic vacuums, has problems with floors that are not fully covered. It is prone to miss fur and small items and tends to bump things, such as its charger on the charging platform. It's not as quiet, and the whirring sound could be distracting as with other models.

Roborock V3S pro

This model doesn't have the same number of features as some of the more expensive ones we tested, however it does have the basics covered. It has a huge dust bin which can hold a lot of dirt before it needs to be emptied. The vacuum and mop system is great for both carpets with hard floors as well as carpets with low pile. It's also extremely quiet and we were able to sit and watch the TV while it was working without feeling like it was blasting us with the sound.

Our test subjects were extremely impressed by how easy the machine was to use and set up. They also loved its ability to remove all the mess from their website floors. It even did a pretty good job at removing pet hair and messes on carpeting, although it wasn't as successful in removing stubborn staining.
