This vacuum cleaner is slower than others, but can still get into the most crevices and corners. It comes with a large bin that makes it easy to empty. It is compatible with digital maps and virtual barriers that let you restrict it to certain areas or to stop completely cleaning if you want to keep it from getting stuck on something.

Although it's not the top model for its price however, it's superior to many other options. The Roborock E4 has a better cleaning efficiency than the Roomba 694, and it can clean both low-pile and bare carpets. It also has a more durable battery and a better route. It also feels more durable, has fewer parts that need regular maintenance, costs less to maintain over its life and charges faster than the 694.

It is also worth considering other models in the iRobot range, such as the v7 or the 981. They're more expensive, but they provide significant improvements over the 694 in terms of performance on both bare and low-pile floors, use a more efficient cleaning route and come with a larger dirt compartment, are quicker to charge, move more easily, and are more easy to connect to smart home devices.

Shark RV1001AE IQ

This budget self-emptying robotic vacuum cleaner does a good job on carpets with a low pile and hard flooring. Its combination brush gets into corners and edges and it automatically increases suction when it detects carpet. It also does an excellent job of cleaning embedded dirt from carpets in the middle of the pile. The IQ's tiny dock footprint and self-emptying feature are both nice features. However, if you wish to change floor levels on the map or set no-go zones, you'll have to manually reset it in order to do so, which is a bit of an inconvenience.

The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated features, however it does not have no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing system of the app allows for superior maneuverability, and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective, although it can get stuck on rug tassels.

In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of debris from bare floors and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was less efficient with shag carpets, as it had a hard time reaching dirt and dust embedded within the fibers. It was able navigate chair legs, small spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice that it was a bit slower on floors that were not paved however it soon recovered speed and performed better than other robots we tested.

The IQ is a more suitable option for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life and is better at navigating obstacles. It comes with mopping tools that can clean up sticky mess. On the other hand, the iRobot is more durable and has fewer components that require replacement or maintenance, incurs lower recurring costs and can even create virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning where it left off even if the battery runs out before it finishes. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice, which can be an advantage for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S from robotic hoovers Eufy isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum on the market, but it does offer powerful cleaning capabilities at an affordable price. It's designed for those who don't need a complicated mapping system or an app to control the device. This robot will last for up to an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool, and AC power adapter.

The 11S is slim and sleek with an upper deck of tempered glass that is covered with plastic, which is finished to look like brushed aluminum. It's a nice contrast to Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more practical and industrial.

The eufy11S performed well in our tests to remove larger debris and fine dust from hard floors. However, it struggled to give high and medium pile carpets an effective deep clean. The device is capable to hit people and furniture in its course. However, it is able to detect these obstacles using sensors. It stops and emits a loud noise when it encounters an obstruction. Then, you can manually guide the device around it to restart it.

Another excellent aspect of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode that allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match floor type and the amount of mess. The remote control makes it simple to direct the 11S to the desired place.

If you don't have a lot of furniture in the area you'd like to vacuum, Single Room Mode is an excellent option. The eufy will spend 30 minutes focusing on cleaning the space it's assigned to.

You can also choose Edge Cleaning, which restricts the time spent in each area to 20 minutes for optimal battery life. This feature allows the eufy to move in a spiraling fashion, cleaning corners and edges.

It can remove fine debris like rice easily and it doesn't suffer from suction performance even as its dirt bin fills. Its design that is allergy-friendly and sealed with air traps allergens and keeps your family healthy. It comes with an onboard HEPA filter and self-emptying dustbin, so you don't need additional filters or a separate bag for your vacuum.

It's not as powerful as more expensive models, but it's still great for tackling dirt and deep cleaning. It has two front cameras that provide live feeds to your smartphone. It also has one of the most advanced obstacle avoidance systems. It also has a large dustbin, a long running time and a quick and smooth clean-up.
